If you own (or intend to acquire) a real estate in Switzerland, HEV-membership is of great advantage. HEV stands for «Hauseigentümerverband», i.e. association of owners of landed property.
Though living in our country offers many exceptional interests, real estate owners unfortunately are only a minority of our population. Therefore legislation is far from «owner-friendly» and tends to hurt by unfair taxation, intricate regulations (building, neighbourhood, environment, rent and so on). Many are the surprises and traps waiting for the careless owner. Nevertheless most of these problems can be handled, if the appropriate information is provided.
The HEV assists its members with advice and information (personal legal consulting, HEV-newspapers, www, etc.). And, in addition to this, our association takes care of the owners’ political interests on all our federal levels. Our commercial branches cover especially real estate trading.
Membership costs from CHF 60 (single house or apartment) to CHF 100 (4 or more objects) per year and includes a wide range of basic services. Special assistance is charged extra but as moderately as possible.
